If you are frequent presenter (conference, demo, presales, internal presentation and etc….) like me, you always bump into scenario below.
Every laptop vendor (DELL, Lenovo, HP, and etc) has their own Function Key for connecting Projector. For Example: My DELL Vostro 1710 is using FN + F8. If you are assist by some event organizer they will assume all the machine is FN+F5 even you try to explain to them, their are just not listening……..
In Windows 7, Microsoft does provide you a universal key that will works at OS level to connect projector. It is WinKey + P
Personally I like this feature alot because I just need to remember Windows Key and P.
Don’t need to learn about each vendor specify key.
